If Microsoft Teams is not working
- Open the site over mobile data instead of Wi-Fi: if it works, the problem is your home network or router.
- Switch DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and flush the DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns on Windows).
- Try another browser or a private window: extensions and cache can get in the way.
- If the site fails only from your country while working elsewhere, it is blocked there, and changing browsers will not help.
For calls and meetings, check that UDP traffic is not blocked by a corporate firewall: most video calls fall back to slower TCP when UDP is blocked.
Questions
Why does Microsoft Teams not work for me when the check says it is up?
Then the service is fine and the problem is on your side: your home network, router, DNS, browser or provider. Try the steps below.
How can I tell whether Microsoft Teams is blocked?
If probes in one country get timeouts, connection resets or a provider block page while other countries open the site, it looks like a block.
How fresh is the result?
It runs every time you open the page or press Check: it is live, not cached.
The address checked is teams.microsoft.com. The Microsoft Teams name and trademark belong to their owner; prefixkit is not affiliated with the service.
