How it works
Probes of the open Globalping network, sitting at ordinary providers in many countries, request the site at the same moment. If it fails everywhere, the service is down. If it fails in just one country, it is blocked or local providers have trouble. If it works everywhere but not for you, the problem is on your side.
What to do if a site will not open
- Open the site over mobile data instead of Wi-Fi: if it works, the problem is your home network or router.
- Switch DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and flush the DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns on Windows).
- Try another browser or a private window: extensions and cache can get in the way.
- If the site fails only from your country while working elsewhere, it is blocked there, and changing browsers will not help.
