Where you meet Q.850 causes

Q.850 comes from ISDN and SS7 and is used wherever SIP meets the phone network. SIP carries it in the Reason header: Q.850;cause=16. In Asterisk it is the HANGUPCAUSE variable; in FreeSWITCH it is hangup_cause with names like NORMAL_CLEARING. Causes 1–31 are mostly normal events (busy, no answer), 34–47 resource shortages, 50–79 unavailable services, 81–127 protocol errors.
