What it means
The provider refused the registration outright, and Asterisk stopped trying.
Why it happens
- Wrong login or password, or the auth username differs from the number.
- From domain or the registration URI does not match what the provider expects.
- The account is blocked, unpaid, or IP-restricted.
How to fix it
- Check username/password in the auth section and client_uri/server_uri in the registration section.
- Set from_domain and from_user exactly as in the provider guide.
- After fixing: pjsip send register <name> (fatal responses stop retries until you do).
