What it means

The gateway’s REGISTER was refused by the provider.

Why it happens

  • Wrong username or password in the gateway XML.
  • realm, from-domain or from-user differ from what the provider expects.
  • Your IP is not allowed or the account is blocked.

How to fix it

  1. Check username, password, realm and from-domain in the gateway; sofia profile external rescan.
  2. Look at the exchange with sofia global siptrace on.
  3. Status per gateway: sofia status gateway mygateway.
