Worth knowing
- Take the stick path from /dev/serial/by-id/ (ls -l /dev/serial/by-id/): unlike /dev/ttyUSB0 it survives reboots.
- GENERATE in network_key and pan_id makes Zigbee2MQTT create the keys on first start and write them to the file. Back it up: without the key you rebuild the network.
- Pick the channel before pairing: Zigbee channel vs Wi-Fi.
- On Home Assistant OS use the Zigbee2MQTT add-on: the same settings in the UI, with the broker at mqtt://core-mosquitto:1883.
