Base64

Encode text to Base64 or decode it back, with full UTF-8 support and the URL-safe base64url variant. Instant, in your browser.

Everything runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

Base64 writes any bytes with 64 printable characters: e-mail attachments, images in CSS (data:), keys and tokens use it. It is not encryption: anyone can decode it. base64url replaces + and / with - and _ and drops the trailing =, so the string fits in a URL.

More: JSON formatter · URL encoder · Hash generator · UUID generator · Unix time · JWT decoder.
