Check the datasheet: IR at night adds 2–4 W, heaters in outdoor cameras much more in winter. A switch budget is shared: 8 ports of 30 W are not 240 W if the supply is 65 W. Use solid copper cable, not CCA: on copper-clad aluminium PoE heats up and the voltage drops. Recording storage: storage calculator.
